The 1st place winners from all categories will earn a ticket to the HCMC Indoor Climbing Championship 2025 — and a chance to join the Vietnam Climbing Team to represent the country on the international stage.

Compete for one day in a single category or test your limits across both days and be part of the Rocktober experience.

ABOUT ROCKTOBER:

  • Top Rope (minimum age 12+): Beginner & Intermediate
  • Lead Climbing (minimum age 12+): Open

Participants of the lead climbing category must successfully pass a lead climbing test before the competition. In the event that a participant does not pass the test, they will be offered the option to switch to any other category of their choice.

  • Bouldering (minimum age 10+): Beginner, Intermediate & Open

For the bouldering competition, participants are required to have a basic understanding of falling techniques. Additionally, participants below the age of 14 must provide a parental agreement for their participation.

Whether you’re a seasoned climber or just starting out, Rocktober 2025 offers a chance to compete and test your limits. Every climb counts. Give it your all in the qualifying round and see where your skills take you!

Your qualifying round performance will determine your subcategory for Rocktober 2025. Climb your best to maximize your points and secure a spot that matches your skill level.

  • Beginner: Participants in the lower third of the overall ranking.
  • Intermediate: Participants in the middle third of the overall ranking.
  • Open: The top third of participants based on overall ranking.

A Surprise Awaits: To add to the excitement, we’re keeping the exact point thresholds for each subcategory a secret. This encourages everyone to climb their hardest and see where they land.

  • During the qualification round, participants will face 30 to 50 routes, providing numerous opportunities to showcase their strength and technique
  • Category placement will be finalized after the qualifying round.
  • Each category will have its own final round, held on the same day as the qualification round. The top four finalists from each category will advance to the finals. In the final round, Bouldering will feature three routes, while Top Rope and Lead will each have one route..
  • All participants will receive their category assignments before the main finals begin.
  • Categories separated for women and men groups.
  • All winners of Vietnamese Nationality will be invited to the HCMC Indoor Climbing Championship 2024, free of charge.
  • Kindly be informed: In Rocktober 2025, athletes will be ranked based on their scores from the qualifying round; therefore, athletes don’t need to select a competition category in the registration link
  • All participants under 16 years old should have a parent or guardian permission.

Requirements

  • Participants minimum age: 12 + years old. Participants below the age of 14 must provide a parental agreement for their participation.
  • Participants of the lead climbing category must successfully pass a lead climbing test before the competition. In the event that a participant does not pass the test, they will be moved to Top Rope category
  • Every Ticket includes Participant’s Kit

TICKET COST & REGISTRATION

Rocktober tickets are available in two price options — special rates for CWall Members and standard rates for non-members.

Ticket sales open on September 10, 2025.

  • Step 1: Preliminary Registration
    Complete the online form to register your interest. This step does not secure your spot.

  • Step 2: Official Confirmation
    Your spot is confirmed only after payment. Once processed, you will receive a payment confirmation and E-ticket via email. Please present your E-ticket on competition day.

  • Priority Window: Register and pay by September 20, 2025 to secure your spot.
  • Final Deadline: All payments must be completed by September 21, 2025. After this date, spots are allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis until tickets sell out.
  • Late Payments: Accepted only if spots remain available.

  • Top Rope / Lead Category: 70 tickets
  • Bouldering Category: 80 tickets

Including tickets for both categories.

  • What’s Included: Each ticket comes with a participant kit and event access to the facility.
  • Rental Equipment: Shoes and harness are not included in the ticket cost. Rental gear will be available on event day. (See rental prices [here]).
  • No-Show Policy: If a participant does not attend without prior notice, their spot will be forfeited. The participant kit may be collected after the event.
  • Competing in Two Categories: Athletes registering for both categories must be prepared to compete on two consecutive days.
  • Ticket Purchase: Tickets can only be purchased through approved partners or directly at Push Climbing facilities. Registration must be completed before ticket purchase.
