As it happened I enjoyed the movie and she enjoyed the climbing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Having seen the bouldering wall Ivy was off, and Jacqui was happy to watch her enjoy it but the <a href=\"https:\/\/pushclimbing.vn\/vi\/jungle-gym\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bouldering gave<\/a> Ivy such a taste for it that pretty soon daughter upped the stakes on mum. \u201cAfter the bouldering she said please can we come back and try the big wall?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re new to Push the <a href=\"https:\/\/pushclimbing.vn\/vi\/top-rope\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">15m top roping wall<\/a> can seem a bit daunting at the best of times.\u00a0 But if you also have a fear of heights then it turns into a true test of motherly love.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-10527\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%271279%27%20height%3D%27627%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%201279%20627%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%271279%27%20height%3D%27627%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/pushclimbing.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/jacquicollagenew.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1279\" height=\"627\" \/><\/figure>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 20px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI was nervous as some time ago I had dislocated a shoulder and I have a fear of heights so I said \u2018maybe\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The following week they were back and in the face of Ivy\u2019s enthusiasm Jacqui gave it a go.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got up, ooh, about a metre and a half and thought \u2018that\u2019s enough\u2019, but then over the next few months I found myself climbing higher and higher.\u00a0 It was slow progress, maybe only a half metre more at a time. Of course all the while my little Spider Monkey was really nailing it so in our own different ways we both found it really challenging and doing something together is always a delight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When we caught up with them Jacqui\u2019s fear of heights was less than obvious as she scaled the wall, but the initial enthusiasm was still as fresh as ever for both of them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a bit of fun and what I like is that you can do as little or as much as you like on any given night so it\u2019s a great workout.
